RCD Safety Switch Testing
WHAT WE DO
Professional testing of portable and fixed RCDs to verify correct operation and trip performance, helping protect your people from electrical hazards and maintain workplace compliance.
WHAT IS RCD TESTING?
Residual Current Devices (RCDs), commonly known as safety switches, are a critical protection against electric shock. They continuously monitor electrical current and are designed to rapidly disconnect the power supply when potentially dangerous current leakage is detected.
Â
An RCD may appear to be operating normally but still fail to trip correctly when required. Regular testing verifies that each device operates and disconnects within the required parameters.
Â
Our technicians test RCDs using appropriate test equipment, with results recorded and documented to provide a clear, traceable compliance history.
